Design services
For us, it is not enough that a solution – whether it is completely new or something in need for renewal – meets only its formal requirements, but the solution must also be equally effective and pleasant to use.
Therefore, almost by default our projects also include user experience and user interface design (UX & UI) taking accessibility aspects (WCAG) into account as an essential part.
Using diverse methods and tools of design thinking, we ensure that our solution’s…
- implementation does not cause unnecessary resistance to change
- implementation is successful without extensive training
- the end user does not have to repeatedly rely on user support
- the end user performs their tasks quickly, naturally and without errors and
- serves their purpose as far into the future as possible.
We want the solutions we develop to genuinely and fundamentally meet the needs of our customers and their end customers or users, from definition meetings to final use cases. Our user experience designers are involved in projects from the very beginning, assisting in the definition work through conceptualization, prototyping and user research, if necessary. This way, we can ensure, with the participation of end users, that the solution to be implemented is the right one, and that not a single line of implementation work is wasted, even during the definition phase.
Before the implementation work begins, the designer designs the solution’s user interfaces, taking into account all relevant perspectives, from the customer’s brand image through the best usability principles to the accessibility needs of various end users. This way, we can present the final appearance and even the user experience of the solution to the customer even before the implementation work begins, because we make a prototype of the user interface that can be tested. The prototype also serves as comprehensive documentation as the basis for the implementation work, ensuring that the implementation truly corresponds to the verified plan down to the details.
When the implementation work can begin with confidence, the role of the user interface designer becomes lighter, but by no means ends completely. The designer provides support to the implementation work, offering clarifications to the plans if necessary, opinions on technical implementation options, and reviews the outputs of the implementation work as they accumulate. In addition, if there are any changes to the specifications after the implementation work has begun, the designer is also ready to participate in their preparation.
With all this, we ensure that our solution is appreciated by the entire customer organization – including end users and target groups!
