The Rami service enables Cloudpermit’s end users (typically local authorities like municipalities) to interactively report and analyze on an almost real-time basis everything that goes on in building permitting. This includes for instance monitoring the duration and bottlenecks of permitting processes, timelines of buildings about to enter the building pipeline, and trends in housing development and its characteristics. And all this from a spatial, map-based perspective. The service provides the users with a possibility to compare their own organization’s situation with that of others.

The always up-to-date information covers over 2/3 of Finland’s municipalities, and therefore it offers a great single view into the country’s construction demand and its forecasts. In addition to this, many regular reporting needs are covered by the software’s functions.

Ubigu’s experts played a key role in building the service from ground up. The work that we have carried out included designing the service alongside Cloudpermit’s brand experts, crafting the technical architecture and specifications, and finally building and further developing the system from one version to another.
